Francoise Tesnier

1970 Black and white photography : she learns how to take pictures and develop the films In laboratory with Gérard Percicot. Her favorite place : “the street”. Paris, Amsterdam,  Sienne, Cartagena, London. (15 years).

1981 Workshop to learn about colour in photography shooting with L. Biancani. Then Photography practice in factory for a metallurgic company.

Françoise starts painting as a self-taught woman. Figurative period until 1994. (13 years)

1994 Art therapy workshop with Nicole Coquatrix, art therapist and former teacher in Beaux Art School. Nicole Coquatrix encourages her to paint and to branch out into Abstract art. She introduces her to the joys of Contemporary Art and convinces her to attend Bernadette Wiener’s sculpture classes.

From now on Françoise starts sharing her love of painting and her knowledge through accompaniment to school with children between 6 and 9. Besides which for the last 24 years she has been teaching out also to adults.

1996 First exhibition together with Nicky Coquatrix in Montjavoult (France). Several  exhibitions with Nicky followed.

2011 Françoise has her first exhibition “solo” in Spain, in the Cultural Center in Pilar de la Horadada. Paintings and sculptures.

Françoise lives and works in France and Spain.
